SUMMER CAMP

Unplug. Get dirty. Grow Wild.

Slide Ranch Camp immerses kids in the wonder of nature and the joy of discovery.

Guided by our skilled outdoor instructors (each week, regardless of theme) campers milk goats, collect eggs, and harvest vegetables to cook what they grow. Kids explore tidepools, wander through the fennel forest, tend our chickens, and visit honey bees in our secret garden all within our 134 acres of coastal land in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Campers come home happy, tired, and sometimes a little muddy — with memories that last a lifetime.

Slide Ranch Summer Camp Themes & Dates

Campers learn to care for every corner of Slide Ranch — from the goats and sheep to the chickens, ducks, and garden. Through cooking, animal care, and nature-based projects, campers create meaningful connection to our animals, each other, and the land.

Junior Ranchers

June 8-12
July 20-24
August 10-14

Adventure awaits! Campers welcome our 4 invitations: get dirty, ask questions, try something new, and have fun! We will explore the many habitats of Slide Ranch. From tidepools to pastures, every day brings new discoveries and lasting memories with new friends.

Great Outdoors

June 22-26
July 6-10

Explore the world of pollinators through garden adventures, honeybee hives, wildflower trails, art projects, and garden-to-table cooking. With plenty of ranch time alongside goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks, campers will discover how pollinators support the entire farm ecosystem.

Pollinatorpalooza

June15-19
August 3-7

Campers dig into the garden, harvest fresh ingredients, and prepare daily dishes that go straight from our farm to their bellies. We'll learn how past inhabitants used the land for food, explore how food travels from soil to plate, and discover how eating locally and seasonally helps care for the planet. Of course, there will be plenty of ranch time too, as campers spend time with our goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks—each of whom plays an important role in supporting our garden and contributing to our food system.

Farm to Belly

June 29 - July 2
July 27-31
July 13-17

Youth ages 12–17 learn basic leadership, teamwork, communication, and group interaction skills as they explore and assist our Outdoor Instructors. CITs lead games, read stories, and add to the fun of camp! A mandatory 1 day training is required for all CITs, May 30 - 9:30am - 3:30pm. Learn more.
